First step to start couponing is to start getting a Sunday paper!
In my experience, you will get a much better deal if you call instead of subscribing online. If you ask for a couponing special, you may be able to get more copies of your Sunday paper for a decent price. I was paying around $9/month for one copy, I called a few weeks ago and added two more copies and it only raised my subscription to $12/month. That more than pays for itself in one week.
Dollar Tree also sells them for $1.
